New! Courage in Scleroderma Award
The Courage in Scleroderma Award honours an individual living with scleroderma who exemplifies extraordinary strength, perseverance, and resilience in the face of the physical, emotional, and personal challenges associated with the disease. This award recognizes someone who continues to move forward with courage, adapting to life with scleroderma while maintaining hope, dignity, and determination.
Beyond personal resilience, this award celebrates individuals who inspire others through their lived experience—whether by sharing their story, supporting peers, advocating for awareness, or demonstrating a steady commitment to living fully despite the uncertainties and complexities of the condition. Their journey reflects not only endurance, but also the ability to uplift and empower others within the community.
This is a nomination-based award. Recipients are selected through a formal review and vote by the Board of Directors.
The Courage in Scleroderma Award is a deeply meaningful recognition, and the selection process is designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and thoughtful consideration of each nominee’s lived experience and impact within the community.
