DR. JOANNA HARPER

Dr. JoAnna Harper is a multiple-state licensed consultant pharmacist, specializing in pain management, with personal emphasis in Scleroderma and Lupus.  Dr. Harper received her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from Oregon State University and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Arizona in Molecular and Cellular Biology, graduating with honors. Other past group affiliations include: state leader for the American Pain Foundation in Arizona.  She brings a unique first-hand approach to the effects of medications in Scleroderma patients, with her early childhood diagnosis of raynaud’s, scleroderma, and lupus, along with a host of other conditions related to scleroderma.

 

She has been working with the Scleroderma Foundation since 1994 in different positions, including support group leader, patient advocate, and secretary for the Scleroderma Foundation Las Vegas Chapter, and Support Group Leaders of the Eugene, Oregon Support Group and Southern Idaho support group currently.  Dr. Harper is passionate about providing education, information, advise, and support for patients to become empowered to be active members of their healthcare teams. 

 

In her free time, JoAnna lives life to the fullest by traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, photography, baking, creating beautiful memories with her young daughter, and spending time with family and friends that have become family through the Scleroderma Foundation.
